Let the Sun Shine In

Good Morning.  It is a glorious, sunny and bright day here.  Good day for a sunny and bright challenge at Splitcoast today plus I just got this new sentiment stamp set by Technique Tuesday.

I started by using the stencil from Tim Holtz called Burlap.  I sponged Mustard Seed Distress ink over that.  Next, I stenciled over that background with the Tim Holtz Rays stencil using more Distress inks.  (Mustard Seed, Squeezed Lemonade, Ripe Persimmon, Fired Brick)
The motion of the rays is done by rubbing the ink over the stencil then moving the stencil slightly each time as you repeat the inking.  I love the sunny and bright feel of this card.

I am adding my card to these challenges:

Little Red Wagon- Vacation

Curtain Call- ANYTHING GOES
Lots of prizes for this challenge

Mixed Media- TOUCH of NATURE

Hope you have a sunny and bright day.  Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.

Supplies:  stamp- Technique Tuesday/ Distress ink/ stencils/ inking tool/ Memento black ink
